Male dog list

The male dog list has been compiled by the Vit Herdehundklubb. The purpose is to assist breeders in finding male dogs that can be used in breeding. Offering your male dog for breeding involves a responsibility.  ​  

 

In order for us to be able to preserve a large genetic variation in our population, it is important that many different male dogs are used. Overusing a male dog increases the risk that unknown disease genes will spread widely and that genetic variation will decrease.  ​  

 

Remember that the next generation will greatly affect the population over time.
